How to use macro editor properly?

I'd like to delay a control on my DS5 using DS4Windows but haven't been able to achieve this using the macro editor.

I'm playing For Honor and I find myself hitting the touchpad by mistake while performing actions, which makes the scoreboard appear unwantedly.

I still need the scoreboard, so I figured the best way to fix my issue is to add lag to the touchpad press function. I thought this would be easy to achieve using the macro editor.

However, unless I am missing something, the macro editor only seems to allow for single press of the button, and doesn't understand long presses. The scoreboard appears when you press the button and disappears when you release it, so I would need to add that into the macro.

Other macro software works wonders and typically allows long presses but in DS4Windows this seems impossible.

Am I missing something?
