It takes ~3 weeks to fill up Emap. We want star-a to stay live, but for star-b to have a reasonable amount of waveform data when the switchover happens. If we can multiplex (see #48 ) then star-b waveform reader can be set to only start listening approx 1 week before it's expected to become ready.
