Because it's a file preview, it can't be shown without being logged in. Would say that moving it to a more static content type (just Markdown from the Notebook) and then link to this page would be preferable.

I haven't been to annotations meetings in a while, so apologies if this is a naive question: Is there any particular reason why this site / resource is hosted in Synapse?
I don't immediately see any features that would depend exclusively on Synapse — mostly documentation and examples. If that's the case, why not use a more flexible/dynamic medium like the Synapse Docs site (or even include this material in the Synapse Docs site)?
Flipping the question around, it seems a little odd to constrain ourselves to the content and display options offered by Synapse, but to not require even a basic Synapse login to view content.
That said, I don't mind refactoring this demo to generate static markdown — just pontificating a bit. :)
