Disarray

A dynamic multi-chain network with post-quantum considerations powering a host of novelties on Proton

Disarray is a dynamic, multi-resource blockchain network with post-quantum considerations and optimized for executing generalized computational or data-bearing requests. Disarray is motivated by the recent formalization of the Minotaur Protocol where researchers at IOHK outline the benefits of hybrid technologies. Our contributions are highlighted in our use-case as the platform was designed to leverage the juxtaposition between proof-of-stake (PoS) and proof-of-work (PoW) along with various optimizations embedded throughout. Disarray is directly responsible for the more robust service oriented technologies, Aether and Chaos, respectively offering each an idealized environment for executing, incentivizing, and managing associated resources. In doing this, we hope to naturally increase network participation by including a host of automations targeting the respective setup processes associated with the alternative consensus mechanisms implements.

Design

The blockchain network leverages recent advancements in WebAssembly to create a highly-optimized multi-chain equipped for everyday use. WASI, the WebAssembly System Interface specification is employed through the use of a WasmEdge inner-core.
