Download the latest 'PIVlab.mltbx' from here, and run it on your computer. It will automatically add the PIVlab toolbox and app in your Matlab installation. Alternatively (my preferred method, but also the only way if your Matlab release is older than R2015b [8.6]), download the zip file from GitHub by going here, click 'Source code (zip)' of the latest release and extract the contents to a new folder in your Matlab work directory. Then run PIVlab_GUI.m.
A quick video demo of how PIVlab looks like is available here. Some example results are presented here. Many researchers (> 1000) have used PIVlab in the past, you can find an overview here.
You can get support in the Google Groups forum. Usually I am very responsive. If you have problems analyzing your data, please always provide the original data in the forum. And if I have a fix or a solution for your problem, please give me feedback if it worked!
A tutorial for PIVlab with step-by-step instructions is available here. If you prefer watching videos and the wall paper of my old flat in Bremen, you can watch a Youtube clip here.
All files of PIVlab are introduced in brief on a separate wiki page. A software paper summarizes information on PIVlab. And a chapter in my PhD thesis shows some extensive accuracy tests.
You can support PIVlab development by contributing code, writing documentation, donating via Paypal (so that I can update my Matlab license from time to time) and giving a comment and rating on Matlabs FileExchange Website.
