Comments
@Safihre, I don't know if you can assist with this error. The service log for the older sabnzbd 3.5.0-53 says that the |
Oh oh... Euhmm.. No clue.. If a reinstall didn't fix it. This is an ancient package so don't even know where to begin. |
thanks do you think i can update the RS812 to DSM 7 and that will help my issue. is it worth it to do that? |
There is no DSM 7 available for RS812. |
@Safihre, I fired up an older DSM 6.2.4-25556 Update 8 on VirtualDSM (running on DS916+) and was able to reproduce this issue. My log files are found below: Installation Log

@th0ma7, do you have any insights into the above issue? |
@Safihre @th0ma7, I was able to workaround the issue based on ronaldoussoren/py2app#533 (comment). It seems that the newer version of

Updating the jarco.text is probably best then, which avoids playing with the startup scripts potentially impacting all other package updates if changes injects error elsewhere. |
hey @sshaikh86, it seems like upgrading the version of
Once complete, you should be able to run the Sabnzbd 3.5.0 app. |
Thank you so much!!!!! that worked - i really appreciate you all helping. Now im struggling with the speed of the download on the NAS vs when i do it on my desktop. For the same DL i get 3/4Mbs vs. 21mbs on desktop. Any thoughts there? |
It's an ancient device... And you are not benefiting from the improvements we made in SABnzbd 4 because it just doesn't run anymore on those old devices. |
Thanks so likely better to use desktop and transfer to nas from a speed perspective |
@sshaikh86, I've updated the description of this issue with the known workaround you have successfully tested. If there is nothing further you may close this issue. |
