does text2mask work for anyone?

i tried using the wizard shortcode for text2mask, and I've checked/unchecked show in prompt; I've tried in img2img and text2img, but it doesn't produce a mask. the code itself appears in the prompt info at the end, so the word mask in the code is just making people with masks, hah.

but really, what am I doing wrong?

Hi @gsgoldma,

I released an update for Unprompted earlier today that ensures compatibility with the latest version of the A1111 WebUI. I don't recall making any fixes for [txt2mask] specifically, but please make sure you are up-to-date regardless.

Now, if txt2mask still doesn't work, please refer to the following screenshot with my working settings. Most notably, you need to be on the img2img tab when you use this shortcode.

I want to debug the mask generating step without img2img, how can I do this? Or it is not possible right now?

hm, i was getting an error in the console. but now I'm not, yet there's still no mask or change- it only produces one image in results
have all the settings the same as your image, but it will either do a simple img2img, or no change with inpaint since i have nothing masked

updated to latest version, issue still present and text2mask produced no mask

I examined your screenshots and did not see any problems with your setup. Cool theme, by the way!

Could you answer a couple questions to help me diagnose the issue?

1. What other extensions and scripts do you have? As far as I know, txt2mask works fine for most users so it sounds like something else might be conflicting with Unprompted.
2. What happens if you press "Generate Shortcode" at the bottom of the Wizard? It should give you a block of code, i.e. [txt2mask show...

it generates a shortcode like it should! but ill remove every other extension and give it a try

Oh boy... that's a lot of extensions. I would start by looking at the ones that can affect your prompt, e.g. wildcard-type extensions.

If you find the culprit, feel free to let me know and I'll see if I can do anything on my end to improve compatibility. Thanks!

the culprit was the randomize extension, even when you uncheck it in the text2img area where it appears.
does anyone have that installed where it's working with unprompted?

when i took randomize out of the folder, text2mask worked.

when i put randomize back in, text2mask stopped working right.

I also using M1 mac and completed tutorial.
My case is almost same as @gsgoldma 's issue.
I can see the setting for txt2mask and generate short code correctly but it will not works for making mask, but despite I check "Auto-include this in prompt", the generated prompts are not included in whole prompt (I checked in the output in terminal). I also tried without any other extensions except build in.

Any help would be appreciated. I.e I'm looking to do masking eyes on batch of images to inpaint on 100 images
