Dice rolls

The dice rolls from TRP2 are back! Use the command "/trp3 roll" to roll a 1d100 dice. You can also roll several dices at once by indicating the count and type of dices. Any roll you make is shared with your party/raid/target if they have TRP3 1.2.1.

This version introduces a couple of new neat features and improvements.

Mature profiles filter system

We have added a new mature profiles filter system to Total RP 3. This feature is enabled by default if the profanity filter option is enabled or if parental control is enabled. You can always enable or disable this option in the Register settings.

When the mature filter is enabled, Total RP 3 will check the content of the profiles you receive to see if it contains specifics mature words. Profiles flagged as containing mature content have their tooltips muted, their at-first-glance bar is not shown and you will see an alert when trying to open the profile.

You can choose to ignore the alert and consult the profile or add the profile to the white-list if you don't want it to be ever filtered again.

You can also manually mark a profile as mature. When doing so, you will be able to provide the words that was not filtered by Total RP 3 so it is added to the filter, so it gets smarter at flagging profiles.

The mature filter dictionary is pre-populated with a couple of words for the English, Spanish and French locale. You can edit the dictionary in the settings to remove or add words.

Export and import profiles

You can now export profiles data to text that you can copy and paste somewhere else. You will then be able to paste back the data inside a profile. The data exported contains all your profile information, your relations, and will contain your inventory and quest-log in the future.

Update alert exploit fix

When a new update for TRP3 is available:

• Your add-on will wait to receive a notification from at least 15 different players before alerting you.
• The alert is now displayed in the TRP3 main frame, and not in the form of a modal popup anymore.

New communication system

This version brings a new TRP3 to TRP3 communication system needed for Total RP 3: Extended and Legion that is more powerful and will improve the exchange of large amount of data.

This communication system is not compatible with previous versions of Total RP 3, so don't panic if you don't receive any profile from previous version, just tell other people to update. If they stay with an older version they will be isolated from the rest of the Total RP community.

Note: Our Mary Sue Protocol implementation is not affected by this.

Improvements

We have added a bunch of new options to the tooltips settings (all of them are off by default, you will have to turn them on (like those Goldshire campers do, if you know what I mean…)).

You can now:

• Hide custom RP tooltips when you are out of character.
• Disable custom colors in the tooltips, if you find them distracting.
• Dynamically increase the color contrast ratio for the text in the tooltips. Enable this option to allow Total RP 3 to modify the custom colors defined by other players to make the text more readable if the color is too dark.

Other improvements

• Added a slash command to reload the add-on with empty data.
• Various bug fixes.

Removed features

We had to remove the toolbar buttons for showing and hiding your helmet and your cloak as Blizzard removed this feature in Legion. The API functions used by Total RP 3 are no longer present in the game, you will now have to go to a transmog NPC to hide your helmet or your cloak.
