Check-in to last stop not possible when trains terminates early

There's a problem I've been having with the app that I would like to report to you.
It's about trains cancelled along the route. When a train is cancelled for part of the route and I want to register my journey up until the station where it gets cancelled, I'm unable to select that station. I'm only able to select the station before the station where the train gets cancelled. This is the case for trains in the Netherlands, I'm not sure about other countries.
I attached an example screenshot. The train runs up to Eindhoven Centraal, however I'm only able to select Weert as the last possible station, tapping on Eindhoven Centraal does not work. This is the second time I'm experiencing this so I know it's not a one-off situation but it happens whenever a (Dutch) train gets cancelled along the route.
