Hi, I am trying to work with some sit and stare data. However, the keywords and plots refer to the time axis as a spatial one. It would great if you could add some functionality that accounts for the different observation mode. Thanks!

Hello Richard,

Good point! I will work on getting the code updated to better support sit-and-stare. It should mostly be a matter of updating coordinate information, but I will need to make sure nothing funny happens with slicing or smoothing the data cube.

Hello Richard,

Just a quick update. We have not entirely forgotten about this issue. Unfortunately, the ability to cleanly specify partial spatial coordinate information was removed in NDCube v2.0. There are some workarounds by modifying the wcs object directly, but we have not found a proper solution that also allows for slicing the EISCube or exporting the results to a SunPy map. We will probably need to just write our own plotting routines to override the default plots, but have not had the time to do so yet.
