Dent-Clack License

Version 1.0

1. Definitions

  • "License" refers to this Dent-Clack License.
  • "Licensor" refers to Dent-Clack, the entity granting the License.
  • "Licensee" refers to the individual or entity to whom the License is granted.
  • "Software" refers to the Dent-Clack software and any associated documentation, files, and resources.
  • "Distribution" refers to the act of sharing or delivering the Software to others.
  • "Modification" refers to any alteration, adaptation, or derivative work of the Software.

2. Grant of License

2.1 Public Use

The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, and distribute the Software for non-commercial purposes, provided that the Licensee adheres to the terms of this License.

2.2 Private Use

The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute the Software for internal, private, or commercial purposes, provided that the Licensee adheres to the terms of this License.

3. Conditions

3.1 Attribution

The Licensee must retain all copyright, trademark, and attribution notices in the Software's source code and documentation. Proper attribution to Dent-Clack must be maintained in all distributed copies of the Software.

3.2 Modifications

If the Licensee modifies the Software, they must clearly mark the modifications and include a prominent notice stating that the Software has been modified. Modified versions must indicate that they are not the original Dent-Clack software.

3.3 Distribution

When distributing the Software, the Licensee must include a copy of this License. For modified versions, the Licensee must indicate that changes have been made and provide a summary of those changes.

4. Termination

This License is effective until terminated. Dent-Clack may terminate the License if the Licensee fails to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this License. Upon termination, the Licensee must cease all use, distribution, and modification of the Software.

5. Governing Law

This License shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dent-Clack is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

6. Entire Agreement

This License constitutes the entire agreement between Dent-Clack and the Licensee concerning the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings regarding such subject matter.
