Deployments that lose power will go dark without being noticed since they cannot send the customary shutdown alerts. Resolve by having a server at home watch for a periodic heartbeat and send an alert if the heartbeat stops coming through after some predetermined amount of time.

If they're on a WireGuard / Tailscale network we can just ping and use some standard monitoring tool.

Oh yeah I wrote this for NDSF, probably easily used here https://github.com/WHOIGit/heartbeat_monitor
