Jaegar UI Doesn't Illustrate Links? #44

@blinkdog: OTEL traces for distributed peer-to-peer (consumer-producer) services are connected/related via the links list. This is embedded as a hyperlink in the Jaeger UI's References subsection as <span in another trace> (also see the "network fork" symbol):

Do you know if there's any place where this is illustrated in the timeline similar to the client-server paradigm, where there are multiple spans visualized as colored bars?

The screenshot is from running ./examples/run-with-wipactel-local.sh with a local Collector service (WIPACrepo/MQClient-GCP#7)

Do you know if there's any place where this is illustrated in the timeline similar to the client-server paradigm, where there are multiple spans visualized as colored bars?

I haven't seen anything like that, although I must admit I'm not an expert in the Jaeger UI.

My Google-Fu isn't helping either; I get some results about visualizing when the other side isn't instrumented, but that's not this case.

That's unfortunate. We'll see if it matters when the MQClients are up and running. Hopefully, there's support for this in the future.
