Is there any way to get post data from other sites within same network, using selectors

I know how to get post data using

import {  useSelect } from '@wordpress/data';

var mydata = useSelect( select => select('core').getEntityRecords( 'postType', 'post' ) );

But I would like to get post data (and attachments, custom post types) from other sites within the same multi-site network. Is there any way already existing to do that? I'm currently resorting to using apiFetch and writing my own api endpoints, and using switch_to_blog() on the php end, but I was hoping there was a more straightforward way.
