Even though I haven't had time to work on Zettelkasten lately, and Ralf has been working on it alone most of the time, I still plan to get involved in development again soon.
In my opinion, however, what most prevents effective development of Zettelkasten is that the code base has aged poorly and the Zettelkasten needs larger changes so that new features can be implemented more easily.
Unfortunately, the discussions on this topic have fizzled out somewhat and remained without results (e.g. #197, #207, #224 as well as other problems such as the usage of jdesktop etc.). Also, personally, I do not completely agree with some of the recent decisions and priorities, but I also have not been active on the project for a while, so ....
What is needed, in my opinion, is a discussed and solid roadmap to version 4, which will put Zettelkasten on a sustainable footing.

I have a new feature implemented in https://github.com/mateusbraga/Zettelkasten: 'historykey + Up' to move to the parent of the current note.

I understand it was not in the plans, and might conflict with the next steps on ZKN4, adding more code to migrate. Should I propose a pull request or leave it for now?
