Looking at some of this data in comparison with the NOAA data, it seems like a decent amount of the values specific to a location may actually be directly derived from the NOAA data and just using lat/long to match what it might be. This seems particularly true for the wave heights.
However, there may still be some use from this around winds (as different portions of the island having different winds) and weather information. Therefore, this set of data may be decent to augment the current data but I'm not sure it will provide any more granularity or detail.
Another beachgoer/ocean enthusiast was able to find a nice JSON feed that might be possible to integrate into the site from the HawaiiBeachSafety website: https://hawaiibeachsafety.com/rest/conditions.json?beach_id=12
