Type of Enhancement

Web Interface/Frontend

Describe the Feature/Enhancement

It would be nice for the user to control which fields are displayed or not displayed. As an example, "Language" is not important to me because my collection is 100% English, so the display of that field is unnecessary to me, so I would like to disable the display. That same field would be very important to a multi-lingual listener. Likewise with publisher... it may be important to other users, but not to me

However, one field that I would like to see is the display of the "Date Added" field. Again, user-selectable.

Why would this be helpful?

Having user control what information is displayed or not displayed would enhance usability.

@ZLoth I like the idea for this update and put together a couple of mockups. Is this kind of what you are thinking?

I added a new toolbar to the library item page with a modal with toggles for each field.

Nice. What about release date?

Nice. What about release date?

Sure, the release date can go there too. These mockups were more for a general idea of what the UI could look like.
