Currently I generate social cards using gatsby-remark-twitter-cards which works fine, but...

What if they were generated separately or dynamically, and only for new articles?
Maybe I could do something similar to the Webmention trick?

Note: This is both useful for moving away from Gatsby, and for speeding up blog builds.
