It would be ideal to be able to filter matches for CVEs that are disputed. This should be a grype application configurable, so users an either opt-in or opt-out of this behavior.

This could apply to:

  • NVD disputed CVEs
  • Ubuntu entries that are flagged as "needs triage"

Ideally:

  • all records that are filtered are added to the "ignored matches" section of the output
