Hello. I am following this thread because I would like Scribus exported to ePub. Having output to print and format epubs simultaneously is a great advantage.
Calibre has a great editor ePubs, the possibility to export HTML and edit in Calibre, or that amount directly Calibre * .sla format.
They could make a team together. When exported to ePubs, Calibre editor opens for the finishing touches. (just ideas)

O.T. Ayacucho Library and other libraries in the state, distributed free books: http://www.bibliotecayacucho.gob.ve/fba/index.php?id=86
I want to teach them to use free software, and take into Scribus output to print, PDF and ePubs.

Thank you. I'm a designer, I'm learning free software.
P.S. I'm sorry. My English is bad, but the google, is worst. :-D

that's the idea!
export from scribus an epub with a good structure and refine it in calibre to become a good epub.

this project is a bit stuck but i still would like to work on it... what i really can help is somebody that motivates me in doing so!

if you provide me (simple and then more and more complicated) sample files i can work on them and improve the plugin to support them.
i need scribus files collected for output (with the images) and sample epubs (created with calibre) to show me how the result should be.
and i need somebody that recalls me from time to time that i should provide the new functionality.

just one thing: the epub export plugin will only work with the the development version 1.5svn.
you don't have to work with 1.5svn, but it should be installed so that you can open the 1.4 file and produce the epub with 1.5svn.

so, if you want to contribute as a "Product Owner", just wave your hand :-)
