The felling mod is easy to use, with a few additional features for some improved quality of life. To begin testing the mod, an enchanted book has been added to the creative menu under the tools tab. Alternatively, if you want to use it in survival mode, you can place an axe in the enchanting table as you normally would and the enchantment will naturally occur after a few attempts.

Once you have the enchantment on your axe, it is recommended that you have a look and configuration settings to set durability and the likes closer to your own preferences. You may also toggle whether or not leaves are to be included in the cutting algorithm. With that out of the way, it's time to start cutting some wood. You'll notice that the enchantment can be placed even on modded axes and affects all logs and leaves as well. The simplicity of the mod means that now you are all set. To begin felling, simply cut down a wooden log the rest will come with it.

As a final tip, if you would rather break just one block at a time, you can sneak while you cut and the felling enchantment wont take effect.
