[FEATURE] Add coderabbit configuration to the repo #3293
Comments
@akshatnema I would like to work on this issue. Could you please assign me this? |
Sure @aakankshabhende . Go ahead 🚀 |
@akshatnema what are the expected properties which are needed to be added in the config file for the website |
@aakankshabhende, please refer to the codebase and configure it accordingly. Once you submit a PR, we will review and suggest any changes if required. |
@akshatnema we will need login credentials to get API key and add it the env variables for Coderabbit API |
@aakankshabhende We already integrated code rabbit ai bot with repo and it's giving auto PR reviews. Why do we need to have separate workflow for it and have API keys configured? |
Got it! Thanks @akshatnema. I have made my PR review ready |
Why do we need this improvement?
This improvement is needed to configure @coderabbitai in the website repo, with proper configuration in
.coderrabbit.yml
. We want to enable AI reviews in the PR so as to get better and quick reviews for the contributors, and they can improve the PR changes accordingly. How will this change help?
This change will help contributors as well as maintainers to accelerate the reviews inside open PRs and also, to improve the code quality in the project.
How could it be implemented/designed?
You can use the Coderabbit AI documentation to create the bot's configuration inside the repo. You can also take references from existing public repositories, on how they are using and configuring Code Rabbit AI in their repo.
