Running amplify init as part of the User Management section of the Web Application lab on Cloud9 fails with a depreciation error. It is because of this bug with the Amplify CLI package:
aws-amplify/amplify-cli#9939

Installing a specific earlier version of the package allows the workshop to continue:

npm install -g @aws-amplify/[email protected]
