Replica meeting attendee not receiving live transcription start status

What happened and what did you expect to happen?

When attendees join a replica meeting with live transcription on, they don't receive the transcription started status. But they receive transcription when someone is speaking. When a replica meeting attendee gets promoted, they receive the started transcription status.

Replica meeting attendees should also receive the started status when they join/subscribe to transcription events.

Reproduction steps

start a normal meeting with live transcription on
start a replica meeting of the normal meeting
join an attendee to the replica meeting
observe that the joined attendee did not receive the transcription started status

At the primary meeting, make an attendee speak
observe that the attendee who joined the replica meeting received the transcription results

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Can you help us the understand the usecase that this behavior might be blocking?

It appears to be a minor UX hinderance, when the attendee joins from a replica meeting. Let me know if I am missing anything.

Hi @akshay-prabhu-github, thanks for looking into this.
We use the started status to get the transcriptionConfiguration, especially the languageCode, and this event also triggers the showing of our UI relating to transcription. If attendees don't receive the started status, the UI is only shown when someone from the main meeting speaks.
