We would love to get support for the AWS SDK for Kotlin the same way Java v1/v2 SDKs are natively supported. The Kotlin SDK is in developer preview currently and X-Ray support has been requested and identified as a parity gap.
The Kotlin SDK supports a similar interceptor concept (albeit no current support for SPI, only manual wire up).

Thanks for opening this feature request. I think we would like to wait for the AWS SDK for Kotlin to be stable before we can add the instrumentation for it in our SDK.
Also, I think it would be more valuable to add this support in the OpenTelemetry Java than here.
