This is an idea that's been swimming around in my head for quite some time: UBI automation. Instead of having people vote on what the UBI should be, instead pick a wide selection of participants in these four industries:
For each industry, do a 1 year moving average of consumer costs, then sum these averages all together. What you get is the average cost of basic necessities. Now, you can have people decide on a UBI multiplier for that value,
