Hey there,

We're currently facing a camera bug in HMD mode using the "Coupled Simulator for Research on Driver-Pedestrian Interactions" on both Windows 11 and MacOS systems, with our workstation and laptop setups. We're attempting to use the VARJO XR-3 headset but are encountering challenges.

System Specifications:

  • Workstation:
    • RAM: 128GB
    • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090
    • CPU: Intel Xeon W7-2475x, 20 cores, 40 logical processors
    • OS: Windows 11
  • Windows 11 Laptop:
    • RAM: 32GB
    • GPU: Nvidia Geforce 4090 Laptop GPU
    • CPU: Intel Core I9-13900HX, 24 cores, 32 logical processors
    • OS: Windows 11
  • MacBook Pro with M1 Pro & M2-Max
  • VR Headset: VARJO XR-3

HMD Mode Bug:

  • The camera in HMD mode flips between 0 and 90 degrees each frame, causing a flickering effect.
  • This issue persists even when the VR headset is not connected and is also observed on a MacBook Pro M1-Pro & M2-Pro during driving mode in the simulator.
  • When pressing the R-Key for aligning the head-orientation no alignment was achieved and the issue wasn't resolved as well
