Suggestion: Silhouette plotters

Not affiliated but a satisfied user of many years of Silhouette's "Portrait" and "Cameo" plotters/cutters..They're well made and relatively affordable. Aside from basic pen plotting they support cutting and embossing too. They also have an optical registration mark finding system which is really useful for precision jobs too.

Main downsides are the official software isn't very hacker friendly but unofficial software exits (see #64). Also using your own pens requires a little creativity but nothing this community wouldn't be up for I don't think! :)
