<p>头一起涉及自动驾驶的致死车祸还在持续调查中，但美国交通最高监管部门公开表态，这不该成为阻碍技术进步的因素。</p>
<p>上周五，在底特律的一个会议上，美国国家高速交通安全管理局（NHTSA）的<a href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/tesla-autopilot-crash-shouldnt-slow-self-driving-development-regulator-says-1469200956" rel="nofollow">负责人 </a><a href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/tesla-autopilot-crash-shouldnt-slow-self-driving-development-regulator-says-1469200956" rel="nofollow">Mark Rosekind 谈到</a>，他们这个部门最主要的职责之一，就是降低交通事故中的死亡率。而 2015 年全美的数字比前一年还是增长了 8%。<br/></p>
<p>为了这个目标，整个汽车行业不能等着技术变得完美之后，再迅速普及到每辆车上。</p>
<p>尽管自动驾驶技术出了事，但美国监管部门对技术发展仍然态度积极。美国交通部部长 Anthony Foxx 日前在旧金山的说法则更严谨些，“自动驾驶不意味着完美。我们需要行业非常严肃地看待它的安全问题。”</p>
<p><a href="http://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-autopilot-regulations-20160719-snap-story.html" rel="nofollow">Foxx 还称</a>，新的安全规范会包括进入市场前的审核，这也将明确消费者、政府和车厂各方的责任。</p>
<p>不过，目前整个的安全规范还在讨论中，司机、汽车公司、技术专家们的意见都会被听到。NHTSA 原本预计在 7 月初就公开的无人车路测规范延迟到现在也没发布。</p>
