Know this is kinda old, but I have a few that I just started working on myself. Finishing up the measurement environment, smart plug and wiring. So hopefully in a few days..

Well its all new to me but learning. Gonna have to deal with a dummy load. This sonoff plug does not do will with low readings.

Hope to contribute a Vont and 2 Haufha bulbs once set up

Happen to have any of the other Kauf bulbs? Just found this and have a few of the A21's i would love to get into this. How's the new measuring device coming along?

Are you still on esphome or converted to tasmota?

I have run into management issue, if used out of the box Just FYI!

If you use Tasmota,, the template is the same for all models,

Problem as it would appear to me, is powercalc will use "tasmota" as the manufacture and bulb name as "Kauf Bulb"

In my case I had already named mine Kauf BLF10 Bulb and Kauf BR30 Bulb

I think one could guess these will measure differently and the one size "Kauf Bulb" as the tasmota template will use,would not fit them both.

Before powercalc I had already named my Kauf bulbs by their "real" model

Since I have converted all my kauf bulbs to tasmota, I cannot say how this might affect esphome based bulbs

Gonna guess this might be any tasmota device since one can tweak the tasmota templates

When Tasmota exposes the name into HA device information and it's not different by default for the two types of Kauf bulbs there is not much we can do to make auto discovery work.
As Powercalc looks at the device information exposed in HA, and this is tasmota and Kauf Bulb.
There is no way to differentiate with this information.

That being said users can just setup the powercalc sensor manually by selecting the correct profile following this procedure:

Just rename it in the tasmota template for the model of kauf rather than just a generic name "kauf bulb"

Yes, that will also work, but then the user must know how to name it exactly to conform to powercalc naming for auto discovery.
We cannot expect other users to do that.
