Powerplugs with messurement are not suggsted as Powercalc device

Hi,

I like to understand why homeassistant sometimes suggest du add a powecalc sensor for a power plug with messurement and sometimes not.
I have mutliple TS011F powerplugs with diffrent vendors all vendors are starting with TZ3000 the last string is diffrent.
All power plugs are working, if I set up them manually, but some have automatically been suggested to add a powercalc profile.
Can you tell me, what is the prerequesit that a powerplug will be suggested by homeassistant to add the powercalc integration?

Powercalc looks at both model and aliases (you can inspect the last by expending the model row).
The aliases has a | delimiter.
So this one has 4:

• TS011F_plug_1
• TS011F_plug_3
• TS011F
• BSD2

You can enable debug logging for Powercalc and see why it is not discovered.
You should see lines Model not found in library, skipping discovery, and one line before the actual manufacturer / model which was checked against powercalc database.

Please share the manufacturer / model which was not discovered and what you expect and let's see what's missing.

This seem to be a NOUS A1Z when I google a bit. Can you confirm that as you have the physical plug?

I have added aliases for the NOUS A1Z with #2382. That should make the NOUS A1Z correctly discovered in your installation.
TS011F seems more of a generic Zigbee model description, which can actually be a lot of different smart plugs.
Both the Tuya TS011F and NOUS A1Z have very similar measurements. 0.1/0.13 and 0.39/0.4.
But I'm not sure if this is the case for all possible TS011F by all these different vendors.
Do you have any power meter lying around which you can do the measurements for the _TZ3000_w0qqde0g plug?

Looks good, now all the plugs are here twice 😅 my manual setup and the auto recognition
