The problem that you wish to solve

Recently I found out that it is not possible to enter wallet via entering the seed phrase from the hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor, etc..).
I know it is not recommended, but it could lead to misinterpretation. When someone enters the seed phrase a clean wallet is derived and he can think that his funds are already not there.
It's already embedded in people's minds that seed phrase will get you access to your wallet and many people are not so technically versed they can find out it is not their actual wallet.
In longterm it could lead to many cases of assumed lost of money. Either they pass away and someone from family will find the seed phrase or they just forgot about ledger and try to enter the wallet via pass phrase themselves.

Description

Embed policy that will ensure that all Cardano wallets are compatible with hardware wallet seed phrases.
