A simple fix can be made in SceneDelegate.swift at the start of scene(...):
let appearance = UINavigationBarAppearance() appearance.configureWithOpaqueBackground() UINavigationBar.appearance().standardAppearance = appearance UINavigationBar.appearance().scrollEdgeAppearance = appearance
