Can't sign a message with Ledger

Background

Bridge assets with a ledger backend wallet

Issue

When trying to bridge using CCTP from noble to eth usdc, I see the following error message.

Incompatible Signing Requested
Error: SIGN_MODE_DIRECT can’t be signed on Ledger. Contact the web app provider to fix this issue.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install cosmos application in ledger
2. Import a wallet in Keplr
3. Fund some usdc to noble address
4. Go to cctp.money
5. Bridge from noble to eth usdc

Expected result

Sign a transaction through ledger device, wait for broadcast TX to be successful

Actual result

Incompatible Signing Requested
Error: SIGN_MODE_DIRECT can’t be signed on Ledger. Contact the web app provider to fix this issue.
