Only alter vertical height when there’s multiple columns

On small screens, the card sizes get messed up and there’s less context for why they’d be sized differently anyway. We could either size them the same, or scale down the whole layout so you still see the full multicolumn display. (Just a thought for the future, not really that important now.)
