Feature Request: Display Author and Creation Date for Snippets

Context

As a user and administrator of multiple WordPress sites using the Code Snippets plugin, I have encountered a situation where it would be highly beneficial to know the author and creation date of each snippet. This information is crucial for maintaining security and accountability, especially in environments with multiple administrators.

Request

I would like to request a feature that displays the author and the creation date of each snippet directly within the Code Snippets plugin interface. This feature would improve the security and manageability of the snippets, allowing administrators to track who created or modified each snippet and when these changes were made.

Benefits

  • Security: Helps in identifying potentially malicious or unauthorized snippets.
  • Accountability: Keeps a clear record of who made changes, which is essential in multi-admin environments.
  • Management: Easier to manage and audit snippets over time.

Implementation Suggestions

  • Display the author and creation date in the snippets list view.
  • Include metadata in the snippet details view for more in-depth information.

Thank you for considering this feature request. I believe it will add significant value to the Code Snippets plugin and help many users enhance their site's security and manageability.

Best regards,
Matías Yáñez
