If connecting using a Custom connection, the UI will fail to navigate to the Custom view automatically. As long as the connection succeeds, this is not liable to be a major problem for users, since the time this process will take is likely less than a second. In case the connection fails, there will be an alert dialog, but the user will have to manually navigate to the Custom connection view, which may create an unwanted moment of confusion.

I anticipate this will be a rarely used feature and the impact of this defect is minor, therefore I'm deferring work on this. I have already spent an hour or so investigating, and I suspect it's due to a bug in the TornadoFX ListMenu widget. Would love to get a pull request with a fix!
