It would be super cool to have a section "Features" with short list of most awesome thinks contenta does for you out of the box / the issues it solves.
I'm not sure i know all the features, so i opened this issue :

FEATURES :

  • All Drupal entities available as a JSON API resource (node, taxonomy, block, users etc ... )
  • Oauth authentication ready
  • CORS Headers configured
  • pretty url fro your front-end (snail + fieddable path)
  • JavaScript library : waterwheel.js
  • React, Vue, Angular etc example consumers to starts with
  • GraphQL support coming ?
  • Video resources to learn JSON API
  • a JSON API Explorer ( admin/api )
  • Back-end optimized for a decoupled site
  • Disabled front-end

Please add points or correct those ones if needed :)

What you think this belongs more on a separate page or should this be on the homepage?

I think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KiMgk4wx2c is a good summary of the features / mission of Contenta.

@dawehner do you think the slides are worth sharing as well?

@dawehner @e0ipso on the homepage, but we may just promote the 4 "best" ones and add a link to a page listing the complete list of features. Maybe something like this, i built this quickly on strikingly : http://site-286789-7811-7216.strikingly.com/

PS : graphQL trojan inside, could not resist :-p

I actually like this idea. Will you be able to work on a prototype @nyl-auster?
