Drupal.org now supports merge requests in addition to the patches. We should track that as code contribution.
As part of this issue, we should decide how to indicate the contribution. The current system only has fields for the number of files or patches. We could just set that field to 1 in case there is a merge request but maybe we could do better. If we add another way to indicate that there were commits (or even a number of commits), we could use that field for the Github tracker as well.
