They both look interesting, but nodejs is a backend dependency. I am running out of patience porting collaboration apps from nodejs web services to simple HTTP/XMPP unless they offer some very compelling features that cannot be ignored.

I have just finished spending some time integrating CryptPad with Openfire Meetings. I chose it because it has a whiteboard plus six more useful collaboration apps inluding Polls, a much requested feature for online meetings.
