Description

The open-source Creative Commons website does not utilize the current Vocabulary design system, which is a requirement for all Creative Commons web entities. This inconsistency leads to discrepancies in design and user experience across the various sites.

Reproduction

  1. Open the Open source repository [https://github.com/creativecommons/creativecommons.github.io-source](url)
  2. Go through the repository and you wont find where the vocabulary.css or vocabulary..js is installed or used anywhere

Expectation

I expected the open-source Creative Commons website to fully integrate the Vocabulary design system, resulting in a cohesive and consistent user experience across all Creative Commons web entities. This includes:

  • Consistent Design: The website should adopt the latest Vocabulary styles, components, and layouts, aligning visually with other Creative Commons sites.
  • Feature Parity: All features present in the Vocabulary design system should be implemented, ensuring that users have access to the same functionalities as those on other Creative Commons websites.

Additional context

Resolution

  • I would be interested in resolving this bug.
