I find that earlier in the documentation it mentions that .bitcoin isn't there. It needs to be created. But it's two weeks later, I'm busy with other projects, and this is probably an Arch problem anyway. |

I have Specter Desktop and Bitcoin Core running on my Manjaro machine, but can't get past the JSON-RPC configuration dialog.
Auto-detect says to use /home/bee/.bitcoin, but there is no .bitcoin file in that directory. In fact there is no dot bitcoin file on my machine anywhere.
There is a /home/bee/.config/Bitcoin, but the dialog won't accept that. There is also a /run/media/bee/ios/bitcoin on my SSD, but the dialog won't accept that either.
Is this because nearly every Linux Bitcoin program is written for Debian? You do mention Arch in your docs. There is a specter-desktop in the AUR, but it fails because of a Python problem that is past my competence.
I think that I have read every document and FAQ available, and I'm still spinning my wheels. Help, anyone?
