evaluate options for exporting to pdf forms

I'm adding this as an issue to keep the notes here, though it may not strictly fit here:
we should evaluate whether a fitting node library exist that can be used to easily export data from field to pdf forms via mapping of configuration fields to corresponding fields from the form (maybe this: https://github.com/Hopding/pdf-lib ?). this will not encompass custom pdf-exports. alternatively, we could find or develop a small external tool (e.g. python with GUI) that would do the same with e.g. csv-files.
