How to read the manuals on Windows 10

Windows does not include tools to read PostScript or man pages, so you will need to install some to read the documentation.

For the PostScript files in the 5.x versions you can use GhostScript. There is a GUI program to go with that called GhostView, which was harder to track down. I managed to find a link to GhostView 6.0 on this page.

For ACK 6.x you will need groff to read or convert the man pages. You can find a Windows port amongst the ezwinports files.

If you would prefer to edit or convert via a GUI, you can use groffstudio (you still need groff). The PDF conversion didn't work for me, but converting to PostScript did. I then used GhostView to convert those files to PDF.
