By default, indoor maps (cities, towns, etc) are disabled. Enable them by executing: tog map inside. View the map by executing look command.
Each race (or alignment?) spawns in a different location. If you are playing with a group, keep this in mind.
bMUDClient for Android seems to be a usable client choice: https://www.bha.ee/#/apps/bmudclient
