r7 has fairly bad CTE starting on 20240603. This marginally affects LRG success rate and causes a few catastrophic failures for redshifts on BGS tiles. We have decided to accept these for now (mark good, archive, MTL), with the expectation that we can likely improve the CTE modeling (enable the more sophisticated CTE correction mode, following updates to the CTE trap calibration procedure). If we have to we can remove them from the MTL later following a reprocessing where we mark them as bad.
