Great work on the layout - a lot of good design has gone into it.

My understanding is that the ergodox (or any keyboard) sends scancodes which are then interpreted by the machine. If the scancodes of the ergodox can be programmed... what should they be set to to make use of this layout?

Included is the ergodox firmware source but it just appears to have the standard layout-files included. I feel like my understanding / the explanation is incomplete.

Hah! Yes, I customised the ErgoDox firmware a bit too. This is the firmware I'm using on the ErgoDox.
