[ ] better visualization of loss curves (use tb logger)
[ ] unintuitive local maxima test function (background is all 0s, and thus a local maxima, is assigned a seed. printing number_of_seeds shows 4 (it includes a seed for the background), even though only 3 show up.) There is also a small chance that the background seed is visible if the first pixel happens to be one of the 3 1s selected.
