On the MySQL Binlog replication article (https://docs.dolthub.com/guides/binlog-replication) it is mentioned that MariaDB can be used as a source database.
Nevertheless, I've tried to apply the same guide on the MariaDB, but some concepts like gtid_mode and enforce_gtid_consistency don't apply to MariaDB.
In fact, on this page https://mariadb.com/kb/en/gtid/, it is mentioned that:
"Note that MariaDB and MySQL have different GTID implementations, and that these are not compatible with each other. MariaDB can be a replica for a MySQL primary but MySQL cannot be a replica for a MariaDB primary."
So, I suppose MariaDB isn't really supported to act as a source to Dolt replication, right?
Or is it supported?
