We should not take this to 17.11 but we probably should have gotten it on our other in-support 8.0 branches . . .

Why not 17.11? 8.0.4 is still in support for another year

17.8, 17.10 should have the subscription to the channel as well, while only 17.11 and 17.9 (this is deactivated) have it:

Why not 17.11? 8.0.4 is still in support for another year

You're right, I was thinking VS lifecycle only.
